I graduated from the Community College of Denver and became a certified veterinary technician in January of 2007 and joined the Boulder Veterinary family about one month later. I feel so blessed to have started my career as a veterinary technician here! I am a Colorado native and do not plan to leave (because I love it here!) I live in Longmont with my husband, Mike, and our two cats, Cassie and Clyde and our dog, Jack. I enjoy reading, snowboarding and spending time with Mike and his two children, Krystal and Tanner.

I recently became a certified veterinary technician in June of 2008, but have been training with veterinarians for 6 years. I moved here from San Diego, CA in 2007 for a change and to live in the mountains. AND I LOVE IT!!!! Snowboarding is one of my favorite hobbies, but I also enjoy traveling, hiking, concerts and reading. My extended family consists of my leopard gecko, Leo.Barb , CVT
Barb has happily been a member of the Boulder Vet family since 1988. She attended Bel Rea Institute in Denver receiving her degree as a veterinary technician in 1988.
